learn how to make pasta like the pros
Starting from late June we will be hosting classes here at Ripiena. Ever sat at the bar in awe, watching our pasta chefs do their thing? Well now we're ready to teach you all you know.
Classes will be small, with between four and six machines per group. Singles classes will run in groups of five, and pairs groups will run in groups of eight. Each student will learn how to make at least two kinds of pasta, have a bite to eat with the group, and be given something to bring home with them.
Classes are open only to non-professionals, and attendees will be asked to fill out a disclosure form (for those working in the food & beverage industry, we request that you contact us directly if you're interested in training or consultation).
Exact itineraries will not be sent out to attendees before the classes. In beginners classes, students will learn how to make the most universal pasta dough, as well as one long and one filled pasta. The classes will go for two hours, and will cost $180 per pair for pair classes, or $100 per person for singles classes. Intermediate classes will run for three hours, and cover more specialist content such as shapes and colours. Intermediate classes cost $140 per person.
